ReSPA presents the Regional Comparative eGovernment Study at the 2013 UNITED NATIONS PUBLIC SERVICE FORUM

  ReSPA will present the Regional Comparative eGovernment Study at the 2013 UNITED NATIONS PUBLIC SERVICE FORUM. This event, which will focus on the theme of “Transformative e-Government and Innovation: Creating a Better Future for All”, is organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), Division for Public Administration and Development Management (DPADM), and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in partnership with UN-WOMEN and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA).

 

On the very first day of the event, ReSPA is invited to offer its’ experience under the Expert Group Meeting 1 “The Transformative Power of eGovernment: Innovative Ideas and Practical Tools for the Post 2015 Development Agenda”. In this Group Meeting ReSPA will share with the respected participants the lessons learnt and best stories based on the Regional Comparative eGovernment Study findings and conclusion.  

The United Nations Public Service Forum is a unique global capacity-building event that addresses emerging issues and trends in public governance. The United Nations Public Service Forum, Day and Awards Ceremony will take place in Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain, from 24 to 27 June 2013. This year’s event is highly symbolic and unique as it is the first time that the event will be held in the Arab region. It is also the first global forum in the Arab region on governance and innovation that will bring together innovators and government officials from all over the world to exchange knowledge and cutting edge ideas on how to transform government to achieve sustainable development and a better future for all.
