ReSPA Seasonal School on Recent Developments in European Integration and Enlargement Policy

26 October - 30 October 2015 Danilovgrad,Montenegro Summer / Seasonal Schools

By organizing the Seasonal School on Recent Developments in European Integration and Enlargement Policy, ReSPA aims to support the process of European integration in the Western Balkan region. As such, the Seasonal School aims to offer a comprehensive, yet in-depth analysis of the most pressing issues that have shaped the European Union, its Member States, as well as its policy towards candidates and potential candidates for the EU membership. The European integration is a dynamic process influenced by range of different factors which are both internal and external to the EU. Some current developments at the international level, EU level and EU Member States level have actual and potential impact on the process of European integration and the EU enlargement agenda. Those developments that happen, at the first place, in the area of Economic and Monetary Union, the institutional and legal set up of the organization and some sector policies of the EU, call for further elaboration in the light of their impact on the enlargement policy. Therefore, those phenomena will be presented within a thematic Seasonal school which would offer an update on the current processes and basis for deeper reflection on related topics by ReSPA Members civil servants participating to the Seasonal school.
