
WS on Gender-Informed Policymaking: Integrating Gender Perspectives Into Policy Development is Crucial for Addressing the Diverse Needs of All Citizens

Organized in collaboration with UNDP Montenegro under a Memorandum of Understanding, today’s workshop on gender-informed policymaking shed light on the importance of building on the commitment to gender equality in policymaking, seen as one of the drivers of socio-economic development and enhancing institutional accountability.
Kaća Đuričković, Team Leader for Gender Equality and Marija Blagojević, Project Manager at UNDP Montenegro provided practical tools and valuable insights to design equitable and inclusive policies.
Alice De Maximy, Ministerial delegate for diversity and professional equality at the Ministry of Economy and Finance shared French experiences in gender-informed policymaking via an online session.
Participants engaged in practical exercises to apply gender perspectives in policy development through group work sessions.
Jelena Mrdak, ReSPA Programme Manager highlighted that building capacities for gender-informed policymaking is not just about inclusion; it’s about creating stronger, more accountable institutions that truly respond to the needs of all citizens.
