
Boosting international Cooperation with Directors General of the European Public Administration Network

ReSPA actively participated in the EUPAN Directors General Meeting which gathered public administration leaders from across Europe, fostering vital discussions on the future of governance, ethical leadership, AI integration, and sustainable administration.
ReSPA’s presence at this strategically important event underscored its ongoing commitment to fostering excellence and innovation in public administration across the Western Balkans. As the EUPAN network continues to drive transformation within the civil services of EU member states, ReSPA’s participation ensured the region remained aligned with the latest European trends and strategic objectives.
Opened by Anita Noskowska-Piatkowska and Marta Kuzawinska, meeting provided the forum for insightful reflections from the representatives of Poland`s public administration, including Krzysztof Banas and Katarzyna Dudzik, and Prof dr Christoph Demmke (Vassa University), Daniel Gerson (OECD), Helene Martin (France), Andre Weimar (the Netherlands), Christian Roques (DG HR), Florian Hauser (SG REFORM); Garcia Vara Arribas (EIPA) on some of the most pertinent PA topics including:
- The effectiveness of innovative ethical policies,
- Implementation of Work-Life Balance solutions,
- Responsible use of AI,
- Development of green administration.
The adoption of the EUPAN Strategy Paper 2025–2028 marked a significant milestone of the meeting. ReSPA welcomed the roadmap’s focus on ethical leadership, inclusive governance, and digital innovation. With Denmark and Cyprus taking over the next presidencies, ReSPA looks forward to continued collaboration and knowledge exchange, furthering its mission of advancing public administration across the Western Balkans in harmony with the broader European framework.
