ReSPA Director and the whole team hosted Mr Goran Minchev, Minister of Public Administration of North Macedonia and Maja Risova Mutlular, Head of Cabinet, to discuss ReSPA’s strategic priorities and the intensive cooperation between the two institutions. So far, over 100 training sessions and workshops have been conducted through ReSPA, with active participation of Macedonian civil servants, aimed at improving knowledge, skills, and managerial practices.

“ReSPA is more than an educational institution – it brings together the Western Balkan countries and creates a joint professional community in public administration. It is a platform for sharing experiences, building common visions, and promoting European values – accountability, efficiency, and transparency,” stated Minister Minchev.

He emphasised that Macedonia recognises the key role of ReSPA in regional integration and supports its mission as a hub for innovation, knowledge, and institutional strengthening.

“Public administration reform is not a competition between countries – it is a shared journey. I believe that through ReSPA and concrete partnerships like today’s with Montenegro, we will build a modern, professional, and European-oriented administration that will drive change across the region,” Minchev highlighted.

Director Handjiska-Trendafilova reflected, “This dialogue is a testament to the power of teamwork and shared vision in accelerating the public administration reform agenda and working toward the European Future of the region.”

ReSPA continues to dynamize activities focused on building a public administration that serves citizens, is open to knowledge and innovation, and is ready for a European future.
