Today, Director Handjiska Trendafilova held a meeting with the newly appointed Director of the CEFTA Secretariat, Pranvera Kastrati, to define concrete pathways for enhancing regional collaboration in the Western Balkans. The discussion focused on administrative strengthening, peer learning, and advancing both regional cooperation and EU integration agendas.

Joint initiatives, including ReSPA’s active participation in CEFTA Weeks, will drive capacity-building and knowledge-sharing across administrations in the region. These efforts aim to foster institutional excellence and accelerate alignment with EU standards.

“Strong regional cooperation and mutual trust are the foundations of the Western Balkans’ European future. Today’s meeting marks an important step toward a solid, long-term, and actionable partnership. We look forward to advancing our shared goals together,” highlighted Director Handjiska Trendafilova.

This collaboration underscores the commitment of both organisations to building a more integrated, resilient, and EU-ready Western Balkans, setting the stage for tangible results in administrative reform, regional connectivity, and policy alignment in the coming years.
