ReSPA is organizing the Summer School in “Advanced European Governance and Integration”, which is co-designed and delivered in partnership with the Hertie School of Governance, in Berlin, Germany, on 16-19 July 2024.

The Summer School will be an opportunity to enhance and promote regional cooperation and exchange of experiences, knowledge and skills in the domain of European integration and governance with specific reference to:

• Public administrations and governance reforms within the accession process;
• Harmonization of legislation;
• EU Fund absorption and management (including the Recovery and Resilience Facility of EU);
• Strategic policy development, policy implementation in the EU;
• Workshop on skills: Negotiation and Political Communication.

The in-class programme will be followed by a one-day field visit to specific public institutions in Berlin, to exchange experience and network with public officials of Germany.
