2024 Interoperability Academy for North Macedonia
ReSPA is organizing the 2024 Interoperability Academy for North Macedonia, on the 23rd and 24th of December in Veles.
Recognising the substantiated need to address the specific issues related to interoperability in each public administration of ReSPA Members, Interoperability Academy 2024 for North Macedonia is the third in the sequence of Academies to be organised in 2024 and 2025. The first two academies have been organized in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Programme of the Academy is aligned with each Academy's aim to address issues related to interoperability and data exchange that are specific to each public administration.
In such context, ReSPA aims to organise a two-day Interoperability Academy with the programme that will blend sessions related to the state of play in interoperability in North Macedonia, educational insights into the Law on Data Protection, use of standards and specification for technical interoperability, good practice in North Macedonia, as well as adopted EU Interoperable Act.
The aim of the Interoperability Academy 2024 North Macedonia is two-fold:
- It is the capacity building activity aimed at increasing and leveling up the knowledge and skills of senior public officials from key public administration institutions in Montenegro on the main components of interoperability and data exchange so that they are better informed and equipped to work in aligned manner to meet interoperability requirements based on the provisions of existing laws, contemporary EU policies and good practices in EU and Montenegro.
- The second aim of the Academy is to serve as the platform for intensive exchange of views on laws and practices that can be streamlined into the priority actions and steps for improving the performance of the national interoperability framework in Montenegro and its maturity. To this end, besides the several group discussions, the dialogue of decision and policy makers will be organised as the last session on 29th March with aim to identify practical "quick wins" and priority longer-term measures for improving and supporting the implementation of interoperability and data exchange in Montenegro
More details about the activity can be found in Provisional Agenda.
