15 April - 16 April 2025 Online Thematic Workshops

This two-day online training, organized as part of Roma Month, aims to deepen participants’ understanding of antigypsyism and its systemic impact on governance and public administration.

Designed for public servants from the Western Balkans and Turkey, the program will provide practical tools to combat antigypsyism at the institutional and policy levels. The sessions will address historical and contemporary aspects of Roma inclusion, institutional discrimination, and strategies for aligning governance structures with EU standards.

Featuring experts from the region and the EU, the training will include lectures, panel discussions, interactive exercises, and case studies on best practices. Specific focus areas include Roma representation in public administration, the role of the judiciary and law enforcement, education, health, and EU integration processes such as the Berlin Process and the Poznan Declaration.

Participants will receive digital certificates of attendance, co-signed by the Council of Europe (CoE), the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA), and the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC).
