BiH is hosting this year's ReSPA Meeting of the Ministers of the Western Balkans
Regional School for Public Administration (ReSPA) organizes Governing Board meeting at Ministerial level on Tuesday, 11 December in Sarajevo, Hotel Europe. Meeting is scheduled to start at 10 am.
Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deputy Minister of Interior of Albania, Minister of Public Administration of Croatia, Minister of information Society and Administration of Macedonia, High Level Official from Montenegro and Minister of Justice and Public Administration of Serbia will attend the meeting as well as Mr Gerhard Schumann-Hitzler, Director of IPA Strategy and Regional Cooperation Directorate within the European Commission.
Aim of this meeting is to measure results in development of PAR and EU Integration in Western Balkans. This event sets the platform in which ministers in charge for Public Administration Reform and European Integration process meet annually. Public Adminsitration Reform, along EU Integration, are very important process for administration and both processes are considered priorities for Western Balkans countries.
ReSPA staff will inform the ministers about the current progress and present guidelines and recommendations for the future development. Given the common goal regarding the process of European integration, the meeting will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and improve cooperation between the countries of the Western Balkans.
This year's Chair of ReSPA is Bosnia and Herzegovina and at the end of the event, the Minister of Justice of BiH Mr. Barisa Colak will transfer duties to the Croatian Minister of Public Administration Mr. Arsen Bauk, by which Croatia will assume the chairmanship of ReSPA in the year 2013.
