ReSPA supports trainings in Regulatory Impact Assessment

Podgorica, 10-12 September 2018 – In close cooperation with the Directorate for Financial System and Improvement of Business Environment of the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro, ReSPA supports an expert, Prof. Branko Radulovic, from the University of Belgrade, to provide trainings for Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for public servants in Montenegro.

The RIA trainings are being implemented in modules since June this year, and this week over 20 participants from a number of line ministries participated in the trainings. During the trainings, examples of RIA statements for various draft laws are being discussed and improved in cooperation with the expert. The expert also prepared the RIA Quality Check-list that will be used for assessing the quality of RIAs submitted by line ministries to the RIA Department in the Directorate for Financial System and Improvement of Business Environment of the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro.
