55th GB Meeting at the Senior Official Level: Recapping the last quarter and results and charting actions for unlocking the Programme of Work 2023 opportunities
Organized as a side event on the margins of the GB Development Session in the Hertie School Berlin, the regular 55th Governing Board Meeting at the Senior Official level recaps ReSPA’s work within the last quarter and ambitious Programme of Work 2023 within the upcoming 5th EC Grant.
“Transformation of public administration institutions in the ReSPA Members requires consistent efforts of our team, stakeholders and partner institutions. I count on our joint commitment, ability to steer and execute the strategic vision and programme of work competently, and above all on regional cooperation that boosts mutual respect and shared progress,” underscored Maja Handjiska-Trendafilova, ReSPA Director.
Director Handjiska also outlined the activities and results attained in the last quarter, including the regional conferences such as the Regional SDG Conference, Regional OGP Conference, a series of capacity-building activities such as the Meeting of the eGovernment Working Group and Executive Learning Programme on Better Regulation but also important meetings such those with the French delegation and INSP, Coordination Meeting of Regional organizations, as well as an overview of the uptake and impact of various ReSPA instruments, such as the targeted In-country support and mobility visits.
ReSPA Secretariat also presented the Programme of Work 2023, Interim IFRS Financial Statements January-June 2022, Adoption of the Amendments to the ReSPA Staff Regulations, Information on the staff to be engaged under the EC grant 2023-2025 and BACID III and Revalidation of ReSPA Thematic regional platforms.
The next meeting of the Governing Board at the Senior Official Level will take place in April 2023.
