6-7 June, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Civil servants/practitioners dealing with data analysis and preparing the reports for their leaders passed a two-day training to help them improve their knowledge and skills to clean and transform data into a consistent form that can be easily re-used in various formats/documents. Applying knowledge in their daily work will directly influence the optimisation and performances of their respective institutions and support their leaders in making more strategically-guided decisions.
Comparison of various data-analysis tools, database principals, SQL Server installation, database/ tables creation, document import from different data sources: excel, txt, other SQL, Power BI installation/configuration/report preparation and design, usage of various Power BI objects, report publishing and sharing were just some of the topics tackled during the training.
“By combining theory and practical work, we wanted participants to have an efficient, fast-learning programme that equipped them with the practical knowledge and tools usable for their daily work. With this training, we recalled our students’ days! It was an efficient training that, in a way, forced our participants to practice at the spot what they had learned only a few minutes ago. A combination of good theoretical and excellent practical work is always a win-win for our participants,” said Ranka Bartula Mušikić, ReSPA Programme Manager
