ReSPA Programming Workshop: Internal resources mobilised to deliver an ambitious plan of activities that will equip public servants with skills to lead future change

ReSPA team continues to dynamise and fine-tune programmatic activities with an upbeat trend in strengthening bonds between regional PAR actors and supporting the capacity development of public servants and their institutions by blending capacity-building activities and learning initiatives.
Responding to the specific needs of teams dealing with policy coordination, EU integration, HRMD and service delivery in the Western Balkans, ReSPA team joined forces and identified innovative solutions to be introduced in the work programme by the end of the year.
Knowledge management, enhancing peer bench-learning within the region and EU Member states, improving public servants' mobility and strengthening partnerships are some pillars to respond more efficiently to the change in public service values, mindsets, and practices caused by digitalisation. Focusing on innovative approaches to meet governments’ expectations and delivering concrete outcomes that support the transformation of public institutions and further inspire regional upscaling ReSPA is ready to deliver a blend of capacity-building activities, on-demand projects, mobility schemes and numerous horizontal activities. Regional Ministerial policy dialogue, Seasonal school on Digitalization, Executive training on EU accession negotiations, 3rd Module of the Regional Academy on Evidence-Based Policymaking, Regional Meetings of Directors of Public Administration Schools, and High-level conferences on integrated policy planning are some of them.
Our plan's solid foundation is counting on building regional bridges and partnerships, nurturing mutual collaboration with working group members, stakeholders and liaison officers, boosted by value-added support of the European Commission and EU member states.
Strong public administration teams that deliver for the benefit of our citizens and build strong institutions that foster EU integration of our region is the ultimate goal of the ReSPA team and a strong motivator for all of us dealing with public administration reform in the Western Balkans.
