ReSPA has started with the implementation of the CAF Programme in the Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA) of North Macedonia
ReSPA has started implementing the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) in the Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA) in North Macedonia.
Minister Admirim Aliti opened the CAF workshop and expressed the affirmative view on implementing the CAF in MISA, emphasising that MISA might become a model institution of application the Quality Management in North Macedonia.
Twenty employees from MISA, appointed as the CAF team, by going through CAF implementation, will go through the process of self-assessment, target inter-sectoral communication and cooperation, potential barriers, and bottlenecks in many aspects of the work processes and product optimisation. Through three CAF workshops and self-assessments, they will be guided by CAF facilitators - experienced EU and regional CAF experts. The ultimate goal is to start a continuous improvement process in MISA and its overall organisational development.
During the first CAF Workshop, Mr Thomas Prorok, Senior EU CAF Expert and Mr Martin Todevski, Local CAF Expert, introduced the CAF model to participants and, through work in groups, practised the work on CAF Questionnaire which will follow after this workshop.
"As an "Effective CAF-USER" and Quality Management focal point of expertise in the region, ReSPA within RQMC focuses on the mass implementation of CAF within public institutions in the region, which would lead to better work performance and better public services quality. Our great pleasure is to introduce the CAF in MISA as our first project of CAF implementation in North Macedonia. ReSPA appreciates the trust shown by Minister Aliti and MISA, knowing that project of CAF implementation will refer to the entire Ministry. We hope and we plan that this CAF implementation will precede other RQMC/ReSPA activities in the area of Quality management in North Macedonia, including CAF projects. In addition to using funds from EC Grant, we will be implementing other CAF projects and QM activities together with KDZ Austria within BACID III Programme funded by Austrian Development Agency," pointed out Ms Olivera Damjanović, ReSPA Programme Manager
