Eager to promote successful projects in the Western Balkans public administrations, ReSPA organized a virtual presentation of the Students Internship project from Serbia's Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government (MPALSG) supported by the Serbian Government and European Union.

Jasnima BENMANSUR, Assistant Minister, presented the complexity and positive trajectory in developing two Online Student Fair cycles that gathered 56 governmental bodies and 800 students from 5 state universities last year. For this year, MPALSG expects even better results, with a good reason:

  • Number of public institutions included increased from 18 in the first cycle to 56 in the second (for the third cycle, 74 institutions have already been involved)
  • Number of offered positions to students is constantly growing: from 400 in the first year to 800 last year (and for this year, expectations are ambitious)

Apart from the excellent organization between governmental bodies under MPALSG patronage, excellent and well-crafted communication has a significant influence on the overall positive result of the project:

Aleksandar ĐUKIĆ, Key Communication Expert with EU-funded PAR Communication and Visibility Project in Serbia,  presented a modern, interactive, informative and user-friendly platform that offers all in one place: interesting graphical, educational and informative materials for students, while Suzana TRNINIĆ, journalist and expert, presented a media strategy encompassing both traditional media and online/social media channels.

We are sure that 3rd cycle of the Online Students Fair will continue to continuously flourish, bringing public administration closer to youngsters!

ReSPA will remain dedicated to sharing good practice examples and spreading national initiatives in the region!
