ReSPA has officially launched the second cycle of its flagship Capacity-Building and Mobility Programme, designed to strengthen ties between public administrations in the Western Balkans and Italy. The initiative, supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was unveiled during a dedicated Info Day, marking the continuation of a successful collaboration initiated in 2023.

Building on the achievements of the first cycle, the new programme introduces an expanded framework aimed at fostering knowledge exchange, deepening cooperation, and enhancing the capacities of civil servants across the region. This cycle will focus on three key streams:

  • EU Single Market
  • European Affairs and Integration
  • Human Resources Management and Development

A call for applications will open in early January 2025, inviting civil servants from across the Western Balkans to apply. ReSPA’s Liaison Officers will play a crucial role in identifying potential candidates, ensuring a smooth selection process, which is expected to conclude by the end of January.

Interested applicants can find more information and contact Liaison Officers through the following link: https://respaweb.eu/99/pages/20/liaison-officers.

By fostering collaboration between the Western Balkans and Italy, this programme is a key step in supporting the development of the European Administrative Space and enhancing regional public administration capacity.
