ReSPA Connected Montenegrin Civil Servants with EPSO Through Ready4EU Programme
From March 11 to 13, ReSPA hosted participants of the Ready4EU programme, providing them with a unique opportunity to engage directly with Ms Minna Vuorio, Director of EPSO. During the sessions, Director Vuorio shared valuable insights into EPSO’s mission, structure, and rigorous selection procedures for EU institutions. She emphasized the importance of motivation, competence, and resilient skills, underlining the supportive work environment and the meaningful contributions that a career in EU institutions enables.
Director Handjiska Trendafilova highlighted the proactive approach taken by the Montenegrin Government in designing and implementing the programme. Meanwhile, Agron Camaj, Director of HRMA, expressed his appreciation to ReSPA and EPSO for facilitating the initiative, which allowed HRMA and programme participants to stay informed about the latest EPSO standards and receive insights from senior managers.
Additionally, expert Tack Lieven guided participants through key aspects of EU selection and recruitment, presenting career opportunities within EU institutions, EPSO’s new competency framework, and the selection tests.
With a strong potential for regional expansion, this initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to empower public officials in the Western Balkans and enhance their preparedness for EU career paths.
